Purple Oud
It is a scent that truly lives up to its name—a hue defined by mystery and subtle contradiction. In cultural history, purple was once reserved exclusively for royalty and the priesthood; in color theory, it suspends itself between extreme cold (blue) and intense heat (red), evoking an aura of aloof elegance and quiet ceremony.
When I first smelled it, I couldn't quite pinpoint what it reminded me of. It felt unfamiliar, like stepping away from reality into an entirely uncharted landscape. Looking at its fragrance notes, I found myself raising an eyebrow in puzzling curiosity. It wasn't unappealing—just beautifully unfamiliar...
Spices (red) meets citrus (orange), honeyed sweetness (yellow) weaves through verdant rose leaves (green), accompanied by unnamed grapevines and a rich, humid mist (blue). Together, anchored by the meditative depth of incense (indigo) that grounds every element, their synergy unfolds like an indescribable, mystical journey—generating a quiet, inner vitality amidst the stillness. Purple.
Another defining feature of this creation is its use of private fragrance oils from the personal collection of the late Sultan Qaboos of Oman. I had long been curious about the Sultan’s oudh oils, initially expecting a heavy, resinous, and densely wood-forward profile. But after experiencing Fort & Manle’s Hātirām (My Memories) alongside this fragrance, it finally clicked: this specially commissioned oudh oil is designed with understated elegance. It smooths the deep, woody undertones into something remarkably silky and soft, cocooning you in an airy haze of ancient royal heritage as you wear it.
As for the dry-down, the musk aligns effortlessly with the house's classic "Purple Musk"—unpredictable in its deep beauty, vividly compelling, and utterly addictive.

紫沉，香如其名，一種帶有神秘與矛盾的色彩，對於形象學來說，紫色曾是帝王與神職人員專屬，對於色彩學來說，是極冷(藍)與極熱(紅)之間一種介於優雅矜持又不易靠近的儀式感。
這氣味初聞，我卻說不出它像什麼？陌生到抽離現實的自然環境，我看著它的香調表，我也依舊皺眉無解？不是不好聞，而是不熟悉.......。
辛香料(紅)與柑橘(橙)，蜂蜜(黃)與玫瑰綠意(綠)，再一些不知名的葡萄藤蔓、與濕度頗高的水氣盎然(藍)，它們的加總，再配合沉穩一切力量的總和，冥想之焚香(靛)，有如一種不可言喻的奇幻之旅，產生靜謐中的動盪活力 - 紫。
而這支的另一個特色，它用了前阿曼國王（Sultan Qaboos）的私人香氛收藏油，我之前對於這位國王的沉香油相當好奇，起初以為這油的氣味應屬於木脂飽滿的濃郁木質氣味，但經歷過Fort & Manle Hatiram (我的回憶)與這支香水，我終於明白了，原來這款特殊訂製的沉香油，是以優雅低調，並把木質的深沉韻味顯得絲滑柔順，在穿搭期間，在自身周圍蘊含著古老皇室的氤氳香氣。
至於最後的麝香部分，與其經典「紫麝」不謀而合，美麗莫測的深邃感，生動有趣令人上癮。
原來這個紫沉，猶如塵封的記憶般深沉，只需我們輕輕一噴灑，這如玫瑰般的美麗易讓我們抽離現實世界，宛如塔羅牌、占星術、甚至夢境淺意識等等，帶點沉思冥想以慰藉人心。
我個人喜歡好穿且低調優雅又有趣的沉香油香水，這支 紫沉 ，它驚艷了我，也不愧是品牌熱銷品，它真的做到了！我們大力推薦！
