This time, I wanted to create a fragrance, Gourmand style, for my own brand. Usually, I'm not someone who particularly enjoys sweet treats except for chocolate. I might have some at cafe, but not very often. During that time, it made me try to think and search for ideas for a long time. I almost gave up on this project until I came across a podcast about World War II and the interesting topic of food scarcity during that time. This led to the emergence of new food recipes during the crisis.

Intrigued by this, I started looking for books on the subject and stumbled upon an interesting one, "War-time Cookery Book" by Marguerite Patten. In this book, there was a mention of a dessert created during the war due to the scarcity of ingredients for making Apple Pie. It turned out to be "Apple Crumble."

"Apple Crumble" was a dessert born out of necessity during the war, and it fascinated me how it persisted through difficult times. This sparked memories of a local pastry shop I used to frequent, where I always ordered Apple Crumble. I wondered why I had forgotten about this, and with all the ideas and memories combined, I finally crafted this fragrance.

Golden Gusto, translated directly, means "Golden Deliciousness." The name aims to convey the image of beautifully golden-baked apples emerging from the oven, with the protagonist being the scent of Baked Apple, sweetly caramelized, intertwined with essential Cinnamon spices found in Apple Crumble. This is further complemented by the comforting fragrance of butter, blending all the scents together. The fragrance is elegantly arranged on a base of Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Tonka Bean. Anyone who smells it will feel irresistibly tempted, as if they can't resist swallowing their saliva. This scent is perfect for the upcoming Christmas season.
