Another mountain in Thailand that I want to capture through scent is Mon Jong in Chiang Mai. If I remember correctly, Mon Jong has been a popular trekking destination for many years due to its beautiful landscape and easy to trek. I had longed to visit this place for years but had to postpone my plans multiple times. Once, I even reached Omkoi with friends to hike Mon Jong, but a landslide blocked our way. Mon Jong became a place that lingered in my heart, a destination I was determined to visit. Finally, on my fourth attempt, I made a spontaneous trip there.

When I finally reached the summit, it was stunningly beautiful, well worth the long wait. I visited in February when the grass on the hills turns golden due to the dry season. In the afternoon, as the sun began to move westward, the Golden Hour at Mon Jong left a lasting impression on me. The soft sunlight reflecting off the golden fields was so beautiful that I wanted to encapsulate that moment into a fragrance, as the memory of the glowing grass remains vivid in my mind.
