The Story

La Peau D'or is a fragrance born from the quiet pride of an Asian soul—rooted in the elegance of tradition, the richness of heritage, and a reverence that flows deep for ancestors and origin.

We take pride in our skin—a radiant hue, as though kissed by sunlight and adorned with threads of purest gold. We take pride in the gifts of nature, in the echoes of history our forebears left behind—gifts that we now carry, cherish, and offer to the world with a fierce and burning grace.

The Raw Materials

In the creative journey of crafting this fragrance, Sy Truong chose to weave together precious ingredients sourced from across Asia—each carrying symbolic and cultural significance from their native lands.

From the zesty brightness of Korean mandarin peel oil, to the delicate Osmanthus, Rose, and Jasmine absolutes of China. From the intoxicating Tuberose and opulent Gardenia of India, to the smoky depth of Indonesian Tobacco Absolute. And most intimately, the rare Oolong Absolute and Ant Oud Oil, tenderly distilled by the hands of artisans in Vietnam.

To embroider the scent with subtle, intricate details, the perfumer reached for the warm spice of Ceylon cinnamon and clove from Sri Lanka, the golden sweetness of Benzoin Siam from Thailand, and the earthy green soul of Vetiver oil from Malaysia.

Together, they form a luminous mosaic—a fragrant tableau of a flourishing Asia, radiant and resplendent, like glimmering jewels offered to the world.
