ADÂME Resina (樹脂)

Resina is a very direct experience in its entirety. It opens with a balsamic, slightly fresh note, created by the union of the most important resinoids found in nature, contained within it. Gradually, it begins to reveal its true heart: a deep, leathery, impregnated wood. An almost earthy wood, combined with a subtle, at times delicate note, provided by the resinoid Benzoin, present in all its purity.

Almost all the resinoids present in nature were used for this perfume.
Paired with an absolute of Oud Boya Native to Assam, and a beeswax
coming from the French plains.

Just like human blood,
Resin leaks out if the tree is injured.
It then helps it heal and fight infections, regenerating like human skin.
Pinus Succinifera is an ancient variety of pine.
famous for producing such a powerful and sacred resin,
which was used and worshipped for millions of years.

I was lost in my thoughts
and I followed the rustling of a small stream in the distance.
As I was walking I was attracted by a strong smell,
a balsamic, powerful scent… but at the same time opaque.

A few meters away from me, a pine tree camouflages itself among the conifers,
probably centuries old,
of those you have the chance to meet only a few times in your life.

It was Majestic, Imposing.

Arriving at its feet, I found myself in front of a waterfall of resin,
much taller than me.
I had never seen anything like it.
It was fresh.
I felt like nothing.

Its strong aroma had managed to erase everything around me,
so much so that I couldn't even hear the rushing of the stream anymore.

I spent hours sniffing a small stick
previously dipped in that resin…
I can't explain it.

Frankincense and myrrh resins were once burned to release aromas with beneficial effects on the respiratory system and nervous system.

Breath has always acted as a bridge between us and Nature.
