Fragrance Image
The magnolia (Kobushi), white magnolia (Hakumokuren), and the hornbeam (Hoo) flowers endure the winter, with their tough buds breaking open to reveal white blossoms. On top of delicate wildflowers, the strong blooms of the hornbeam flower begin to open up. The stamen of the hornbeam flower, with its will to bloom, signifies the opening of the path, or "Hana Hiraku."
Fragrance Notes
The thick, white flowers of the giant hornbeam tree, brimming with vitality drawn from the earth, seem to "Hana Hiraku" as they transition from a fruity top note to the creamy floral scent characteristic of magnolia species. The middle notes, which are a prominent white floral scent, shine brightly from within despite being matte. The base notes balance the nostalgic sweetness of Mitarashi (sweet soy sauce) and Miso bean paste with iris and woody tones, lingering softly and dryly. This fragrance is crafted with abundant use of natural floral materials such as absolutes and essences, paying great attention to texture. It leaves a light trace on the skin.
